- IMPORTANT: Please measure your metal posts carefully before purchasing your repair mount. Your railing must be removable for these handrail brackets to work. Your outdoor railing posts must be hollow to use this mount. Made specifically for core drilling a railing back into the concrete. What’s included is a 1” flange tube with support rod to slide inside the existing 1” railing post. This support bar is welded in place and does not come out. Size reminder to measure your square post’s outer dimension= 1” x 1” to ensure compatibility with the bottom part of the new flanges tube=1” x 1” outer dimensions. Support rod slides inside your existing railings posts.

Repairs are 7" long on the repair length and allows for 3" back into the concrete and a 4" space from bottom of rail to the concrete. - EASY INSTALLATION: No welding required! The brackets support rod slips inside the existing rails 1” x 1" square outer dimension posts for a seamless repair. Works on your 1" x 1” outer dimension square legs-posts-banisters - Hollow railing posts only. Cut off the bad part, fill existing 1” post with a strong bonding agent. Slide support rod into existing post and add a pop rivet to secure. Bottom tube of new bracket is 1” and matches up to your existing 1” tube posts. Anchor into the cement 3” – 4”
- MOUNTING: Designed for easy Hassle-free installation, providing a secure stable post mount for your outdoor handrails, guardrails, fencing and deck rails that are anchored into the cement but have broken loose.
- Reminder: These repair mounts are for 1” x 1” outer dimension post. Hollow square tube metal posts only. They will not fit a 1 ¼” post over them. They will not fit a 1 ½” post inside them and a 1 ½” post will not fit over this mount. Use of these railing repair brackets require the handrail to be out of the concrete to be installed properly.
- WHAT SIZE TO ORDER: The best thing to do is measure the post leg right below the bottom horizontal bar of the railing to the cement. Normally anywhere from 3” – 8” depending on the post placement on the steps. What you are cutting off is the measurement of the new repair bracket you will need to order. Completely cut the post off right below that horizontal bar. Install new post mount.
